These Terms of Service govern your use of Psyche. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

What Psyche Is

Psyche is a personalized meditation app that uses user input, AI-generated scripts, narration, and background audio to create custom wellness sessions.

Psyche is intended for personal wellness, relaxation, reflection, and self-development.

Not Medical or Mental Health Treatment

Psyche is not a medical device, therapy service, psychiatric service, crisis service, or substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

Psyche does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, contact emergency services or a qualified crisis support provider immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Psyche. If you are under the age of majority in your region, you may use Psyche only with permission from a parent or guardian.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login information.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to use Psyche for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.

User Content

You may provide information such as goals, reflections, preferences, session inputs, and other personal text.

You retain ownership of the content you provide.

By using Psyche, you grant Psyche permission to process your input as needed to generate sessions, save your history, provide app features, and improve your personal experience.

AI-Generated Content

Psyche uses AI to generate personalized meditation scripts and related session content.

AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for every situation.

You are responsible for deciding whether a session is appropriate for you.

Do not rely on Psyche for medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features may require a subscription.

Subscriptions are processed through Apple and/or RevenueCat.

Subscription pricing, renewal terms, cancellation, and refund rules are managed by Apple's App Store policies.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Deleting your Psyche account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Psyche for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the app
• Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions
• Upload or submit harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Use Psyche to generate content that promotes harm to yourself or others
• Interfere with the app's security or operation

Intellectual Property

Psyche, including its design, branding, software, prompts, generated session structure, and original content, is owned by Psyche/Morgan Kievits or its licensors.

You may use generated sessions for your own personal use.

You may not resell, redistribute, publicly publish, or commercially exploit Psyche-generated sessions without permission.

Availability

We aim to keep Psyche available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued as the app evolves.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account in the app under:

Profile -> Privacy & Legal -> Delete Account

Deleting your account removes your app account and associated app data, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Psyche and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

You use Psyche at your own discretion and risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Psyche after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
