Psyche is a personalized meditation app designed to help users create custom audio sessions based on their goals, reflections, preferences, and session inputs.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Psyche collects, how it is used, and how users can manage or delete their data.

Payment and Subscription Information

Payments and subscriptions are processed through Apple and/or RevenueCat. Psyche does not store full payment card details. We may store subscription status, entitlement status, plan type, and related identifiers needed to provide access to paid features.

Support Information

If you contact support, we may collect your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Create and manage your account
Generate personalized meditation and hypnosis sessions
Save and replay your sessions
Remember your preferences
Provide subscription access
Improve app functionality and user experience

AI-Generated Content

Psyche uses third-party AI and voice-generation providers to create personalized sessions. Information from your current intake and relevant preferences may be sent to these providers only as needed to generate your session.

Psyche does not use AI providers as permanent memory. Long-term app data is stored in Psyche's backend systems.

Data Storage

Psyche uses secure backend services to store account data, preferences, session metadata, and generated session history.

Generated audio files may be stored using cloud file storage so they can be replayed from your account.

Third-Party Services

Psyche may use third-party services including:

Convex for backend data and account-related app data
Cloudflare R2 for audio/file storage
OpenAI for personalized script generation
ElevenLabs for narration generation
RevenueCat for subscription management
Apple for App Store payments and subscriptions

These services process information only as needed to provide Psyche's functionality.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers only when necessary to operate Psyche, process subscriptions, generate sessions, store files, provide support, or comply with legal obligations.

User Control and Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated app data from within the app under:

Profile -> Privacy & Legal -> Delete Account

Deleting your account will remove your account information, saved sessions, preferences, and related app data, except where retention is required for legal, security, or financial recordkeeping purposes.

Deleting your Psyche account does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed through Apple. You must cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Data Retention

We retain user data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Psyche's services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize associated data unless we are legally required to retain certain records.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no digital service can guarantee complete security.

Children

Psyche is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
